SWPL PLAYER OF THE WEEK: ASC Silicon Valleys David Lopez

LA MIRADA, CA (February 28, 2024) – ASC Silicon Valley's David Lopez has been selected SWPL Player of the Week.

Lopez scored two goals and added an assist as ASC Silicon Valley pulled a surprising 3-1 victory over Battleborn FC in the Pacific Premier League's Umberto Abronzino Cup Final at Golden Eagle Sports Complez on Saturday, Feb. 24.

A Northern California native, Lopez has been a consistent goal scoring threat for several different clubs across multiple amateur leagues. He previously played at Juventus Academy Silicon Valley.

The SWPL Player of the Week is selected from nominations from league members.
