ASC Silicon Valley Captures Umberto Abronzino Cup

SPARKS, NV (February 26, 2024) – ASC Silicon Valley proved that there's always a bigger dog.

David Lopez scored twice and had an assist, and David Woodruff added an insurance goal as ASC Silicon Valley, the Pacific Premier League's 2023 Fall season champions, topped Battleborn FC 3-1 to win the Umberto Abronzino Cup Final at the Golden Eagle Sports Complex in Sparks, NV on Saturday, Feb. 24.

The Redwood City, CA-based club had its four-match shutout streak snapped but goalkeeper Victor Garcia Venegas was up to the task to help his team earn its first major trophy.

ASC Silicon Valley will play in NISA Nation's Pacific Region this Spring. Battleborn FC is the region's three-time defending champion.
