SWPL Announces Biola University as Venue for Championship Sunday

LA MIRADA, CA (May 13, 2022) – The Southwest Premier League (SWPL) announces its upcoming Championship Sunday will be hosted at Biola University’s Al Barbour Field.

The SWPL Brent Freeman Friendship Cup Final will kick off the day in the morning at 10 a.m. PT with a matchup between Inland Empire FC Reserves and Hunnover FC. Entry is free to this match.

The SWPL Premier Championship will follow at 1 p.m. PT between IE Republic and Olympiacos FC SoCal.  Tickets are $10 and go on sale at the door beginning at 12 p.m. 

The Raul Briones Cup Final will wrap up festivities in the afternoon with at 4 p.m. kick off pitting tournament finalists Pateadores Academy and Soul2Sole FC II. 

Purchase a ticket for the SWPL SoCal Premier Championship and stay for the Raul Briones Cup Final, with the winner receiving a ticket to the NISA Independent Cup!

Al Barbour Field is on the campus of Biola University (13800 Biola Ave., La Mirada, CA 90639), and is a 500-seat facility with room for 1,000 fans to stand and watch.
